The DAAD Information Center Taipei opened in 2000 as one of the first DAAD information centers. Our office is conveniently located in Taipei’s Chong Cheng District, within the premises of the Goethe Institute Taipei. Here, we offer free consultation for parents, students, post graduates, and senior scientists. We

• inform Taiwanese students, graduates and academics about study and research in Germany, as well as the scholarship and funding opportunities;
• advise applicants of scholarship programmes (DAAD and other German funding organizations);
• support German students and university teachers during their stay in Taiwan and provide information on the Taiwanese university and research landscape;
• advise and support Taiwanese and German universities in setting up partnerships
