Gaining a degree in Shipping and Chartering at Bremen University of Applied Sciences will start your international career in the maritime sector.
During seven semesters, this full-time study course offers you a broad, interdisciplinary range of courses in the fields of maritime economics, management and law, as well as nautical science and technology. The courses contents prepare you to be well-versed with international developments and the global economy. English-language instruction as well as an internship abroad in combination with a state-recognized degree round out your international education. The internship semester is lasts at least 18 weeks.
The short period of study, the integrated internship as well as the highly interdisciplinary and practical- oriented degree guarantee that you gain professional qualifications not only in the context of the maritime industry but also in the broader context of international trade and business. Therefore, it is possible for the graduates not only to take over leading functions in the maritime industry but also to work in areas outside of the shipping-related professions following graduation.
