Objective

The aim of the programme is to offer doctoral candidates from Taiwan the opportunity to become acquainted with the German research landscape. The doctoral degree is completed at the home university.

Who can apply?

Doctoral candidates from all disciplines who are already taking a doctoral degree in Taiwan.

What is supported?

A research period at state or state-recognised universities or non-university research institutes in Germany.

Duration of funding

6-18 months

Value

  • 2-month language course
  • Monthly scholarship payments
  • Travel allowance

Selection

Selection is made by the National Science and Technology Council - NSTC in Taiwan.
