European Education Fair Taiwan 2026 in Taipei and Kaohsiung
Now in its 23rd edition, the European Education Fair Taiwan is the only official European education fair in Taiwan. It is jointly organized by European institutions, including the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Institute Taipei, the Bureau Français de Taipei, and Campus France Taiwan.
This year, 10 European countries and around 90 universities will be represented in Taipei. Prospective students will have the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives and receive first-hand information about study opportunities, degree programs, applications, scholarships, and life in Europe.
The fair in Taipei will also feature around 50 free information sessions and presentations covering topics such as studying in Europe, application and admission procedures, visas, scholarships, and career opportunities.
For the first time, the European Education Fair Taiwan will also come to Kaohsiung, bringing the event to southern Taiwan. A selection of the European universities and institutions participating in Taipei will also be represented in Kaohsiung, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about studying in Europe directly from the participating institutions.
Further information in Chinese is available on the European Education Fair Taiwan website.
Germany at the European Education Fair Taiwan 2026
Germany will have a strong presence at both the Taipei and Kaohsiung events. A total of 34 German universities and institutions will participate in both events, giving prospective students in northern and southern Taiwan the opportunity to discover the diversity of Germany’s higher education landscape in person.
Participating institutions include renowned technical universities such as TU Dresden, long-established universities such as Heidelberg University and LMU Munich, as well as numerous universities of applied sciences and other specialized institutions.
Visitors can also find comprehensive information about Germany beyond university studies. The Goethe-Institut Taipei will provide information about German language courses and examinations, while the Study in Saxony and Study in Bavaria initiatives will introduce study opportunities and higher education institutions in Saxony and Bavaria.
For prospective students in Taiwan, the events offer a valuable opportunity to meet representatives of German universities in person without having to travel to Germany. Whether you have questions about degree programs, applications and admissions, scholarships, or living and studying in Germany, representatives will be available on site to provide information and individual advice.
Online pre-registration is required. Visitors must present the QR code received after registration to enter the fair.
Prize Draw
A prize draw will also be part of the European Education Fair Taiwan 2026. Participants at both the Taipei and Kaohsiung events will be entered into the same prize draw.
Prizes include mooInk e-book readers from Readmoo. As the main prize, two winners will each receive one Economy Class round-trip ticket between Taipei and Europe with Singapore Airlines.
